Black Plastic is renowned visual artist Kevin Grady's monster, made flesh with the electrifying production prowess of artists such as André Obin, Casey Desmond and Jason Corbett of ACTORS. A self-titled debut full length album was released by Cleopatra Records in 2016, its ten tracks filled with an indelible darkness coupled with manifestations of DIY synth pop. It's not goth, but it's definitely club music for vampires. 2021’s “Club Grotesque” is Black Plastic’s sophomore release, and features guest vocals from Richard Butler of the Psychedelic Furs. Grady is the founder of the award-winning cult favorite Lemon magazine, which featured collaborations and exclusive content with David Bowie, Daft Punk, Sonic Youth and more.
